HOSPITAL VISIT!!!

My computer crashed so I cannot download pictures, but just wanted to update and tell everybody about our weekend... Leslie caught some virus and she was puking every 5 minutes. She also had blood in it. So, yesterday we took her to the pediatricians office. Needless to say, she was dehydrated and they got us to use a syringe to try to get her hydrated to avoid going to the hospital. Well, she still puked and the pediatrician told me I knew what that meant... Instead of going to the emergency room, she sent us to the pediatric floor for "observation" and to get an IV w/ fluid to rehydrate her. They ended up keeping us over night and we came home today. Pray she will continue to get over this virus fast and that Joshua (who also has a 101.3 fever) won't get it. The nurses told us they loved Leslie, but for our sake they hoped they wouldn't be seeing us with Joshua... boy I could never agree more. We got very little sleep and I am so glad to be home! Good news is Leslie puked twice, but the pediatrician told me it was probably just from the motion. However, be praying as she just had a loose stool and I really hope she is not getting diarrea. That could dehydrate her just as well and I really hope not to go back to the hospital. Just something cute that Leslie said at the hospital when she got her iv... she looked up at me with tears in her eyes and said, "Mommy, I got a boo boo just like Brooke Brooke!" It helped her relate to it and she said she can't wait to see Brooke Brooke and tell her about her boo boo! ;) I am really glad she wasn't in the hospital during Christmas. I have thanked God numerous times for that because we had a great Christmas and Leslie had a blast opening all of her presents... her favorite present was her yellow lab puppy who she named PRINCESS PEA (or should it be pee lol)Hope you had a great Christmas!!!
